February 22, 2017In order to build camaraderie and have a stronger connection among students, parents, teachers and staff the 24th annual Familialympics was held on Aug 28, in the High School. Students and parents once again set another history of its advocacy of moulding and honing good relationship with one another. Each department had its team. The Pre-school to Grade 1 was the Flaming Orange. Grades 2—4 the Burning Red, Grades 5—6 the Sunshine Yellow and Grades 7—10 the Refreshing Mint Green.
The event began with a mass followed by everyone singing the National Anthem and AHS Hymn. Unity, teamwork, tolerance and cooperation were seen among students, parents and teachers to make it a success. The Sunshine Yellow team was declared as the overall champion, Burning Red team as first runner up followed by Flaming Orange as second runner up and Refreshing Mint Green as the third runner up.
